3rd Annual Athletic Meet Gladden Gambol 3

Our school is committed to follow CCE- Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation by CBSE.
As we know, through this we try to evaluate, assess and report and give feedback on GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT of each child in our school.
Growth - a term which is purely CONTINUOUS in nature. Growth of any individual cannot measured instantaneously.
Like, DEVELOPMENT of an individual should be evaluated comprehensively. Hence sports and athletics have been an integral part of our school.
The third annual sports day Gladden Gambol - 3 was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm on 14th January 2017. Ms.Merin Joseph IPS, Commandant - Kerala Armed Police (KAP) graced the occasion as chief guest.
Founder Principal Sri.P S Narayanan welcomed the audience.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the flag by the chief guests followed colourful walkathon by kindergarten tiny tots where they presented various art and folk forms our God's Own Country Kerala. Students of grades 1,2 and 3 organized a mammoth mass drill  by showing the discipline and rhythm in each movement they exhibited. Performance by Yoga team was very effective where as martial arts team presented a unique item which was of course the need of the hour especially for female students. Scintillating performance by skating team received a thunderous applause which was led by Rajat of grade 8 who found his place in Limca Book of world records.
The event also included a number of races such as 100mtr,200mtr and 80mtr races, 4×50mtr,4×100mtr and mix relay for different categories.
The newly introduced obstacle race also saw a zealous participation. In these category students from Kindergarten to grade 3 presented the evolution of man to present stage through various fun races like - invention of fire, construction of shelter, invention of wheel,  introduction of agriculture, evolution of agriculture, adaptation in apparel, a marriage - contract between not only two individual but two families, a sumptuous feast..........
Hearts were pumping fast and eyes searched for accolades.
Special events were organized for parents too....
