Report on Investiture Ceremony 2016-2017

The Elegant Public School conducted in second investiture ceremony  of the student council for the academic session 2016-2017 on 04.08.2016

 to inculcate the leadership qualities, to espouse confidence and a sense of responsibility among the students.

The Founder Principal Sri. P S Narayanan addressed the audience and advised students about the inculcation of leadership at their younger age. He also administered the oath. The ceremony was concluded by vote of thanks by school's captain Vaishnavi Vinod. The ceremony ended by the rendition of National Anthem.

3rd Annual Athletic Meet Gladden Gambol 3

Our school is committed to follow CCE- Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation by CBSE.

As we know, through this we try to evaluate, assess and report and give feedback on GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT of each child in our school.

Growth - a term which is purely CONTINUOUS in nature. Growth of any individual cannot measured instantaneously.

Like, DEVELOPMENT of an individual should be evaluated comprehensively. Hence sports and athletics have been an integral part of our school.

The third annual sports day Gladden Gambol - 3 was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm on 14th January 2017. Ms.Merin Joseph IPS, Commandant - Kerala Armed Police (KAP) graced the occasion as chief guest.

Founder Principal Sri.P S Narayanan welcomed the audience.

The event commenced with the hoisting of the flag by the chief guests followed colourful walkathon by kindergarten tiny tots where they presented various art and folk forms our God's Own Country Kerala. Students of grades 1,2 and 3 organized a mammoth mass drill  by showing the discipline and rhythm in each movement they exhibited. Performance by Yoga team was very effective where as martial arts team presented a unique item which was of course the need of the hour especially for female students. Scintillating performance by skating team received a thunderous applause which was led by Rajat of grade 8 who found his place in Limca Book of world records.

The event also included a number of races such as 100mtr,200mtr and 80mtr races, 4×50mtr,4×100mtr and mix relay for different categories.

The newly introduced obstacle race also saw a zealous participation. In these category students from Kindergarten to grade 3 presented the evolution of man to present stage through various fun races like - invention of fire, construction of shelter, invention of wheel,  introduction of agriculture, evolution of agriculture, adaptation in apparel, a marriage - contract between not only two individual but two families, a sumptuous feast..........

Hearts were pumping fast and eyes searched for accolades.

Special events were organized for parents too....

Vaishnavi of grade 9 expressed vote of thanks.

The Elegant Public School

The Elegant public School, situated at the heart of the city of Plakkad, 'Evergreen Forest', is now affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with affiliation number  931265.

The school has the excellent infrastructure which inculcates Computer Lab equipped in consonance with the latest technology providing individual system to each student to work upon. I have great pleasure in this wonderful morning in welcoming our chief guest Ms.Merin Joseph, IPS the commandant of Kerala Armed Police, who has consented to be the chief guest of the our third annual athletic meet Gladden Gambol 2017.

When it comes to the molding of young mind, inspiring the youth, we cannot think of any other  person than this young energetic, charming and gorgeous personality Ms.Merin Jospeh IPS to grace this occasion as chief guest to receive the salute from our promising cadets.

We would like to extend our warm welcome to you to our thirds annual athletic meet Gladden Gambol 2017.

The other two dignitaries on the dais are the most prominent personalities as far as our institutions are concerned. I welcome Mr.Shamsuddeen, the correspondent of the Elegant Public School, Mr.Gaffoor Administrator to our annual athletic meet.

A warm welcome is never incomplete without warm words. It is with great pleasure that we welcome our valued parents....the proud partners of school to this meet.

Sports day is a day is marked as the most  vibrant day in the academic calendar of any institution. The most awaited day for students. It is the day the maximum energy is spent, energy is utilized, maximum triumphs in the history of any one.........we celebrate the day and spent excess energy and come to ground state. There lies the importance education ....especially in 21st century.......
