Danotsav - Programme at The Elegant Public School!

"Danotsav, earlier known as Joy of Giving Week, is India's only festival of 'giving' celebrated from 2-8 October every year, started in 2009, the festival celebrates the inherent goodness present in all human beings. The idea is to get people to do act of 'giving'."
We also have initiated this 'utsav' in our school. Previous year students of our school donated their used dresses to under-privileged kids nearby area. We continue this process.
This year we have planned, in addition to this, a compassion towards nature by DAYA, KRIPA, KARUNA AND ANUKAMPA by feeding birds near the school ground.
The founder Principal of the school Sri.P S Narayanan Namboodiripad inspired students to have compassion towards nature by feeding the birds in near by area.
