Vegetable garden initiated by principal sri.P S Narayanan

By deepening the sense of connection with nature, The Elegant Public school initiated a vegetable garden where vegetables are cultivated by children as a part of their teaching learning opportunity. Another effort introduced by the Principal Sri.  P S Narayanan Namboodiripad to inculcate in students compassion towards nature.

A Visit to orphanage - Principal Mr.P S Narayana Namboodiripad lead the the Student Leaders of The Elegant Public School to an orphanage to donate the dresses........a part of DANOTSAV!
Students were taught and they have experienced the different face of the life through this trip.

Danotsav - Programme at The Elegant Public School!

"Danotsav, earlier known as Joy of Giving Week, is India's only festival of 'giving' celebrated from 2-8 October every year, started in 2009, the festival celebrates the inherent goodness present in all human beings. The idea is to get people to do act of 'giving'."
We also have initiated this 'utsav' in our school. Previous year students of our school donated their used dresses to under-privileged kids nearby area. We continue this process.
This year we have planned, in addition to this, a compassion towards nature by DAYA, KRIPA, KARUNA AND ANUKAMPA by feeding birds near the school ground.
The founder Principal of the school Sri.P S Narayanan Namboodiripad inspired students to have compassion towards nature by feeding the birds in near by area.
