Let me welcome the name of the programme –
Gladden Gambol. Gladden – to make it glad and gambol – means – run or jump
about playfully. Even though it is competition, we instill a lot of fun and happiness as ever in this
programme too which you are going to witness. This is the uniqueness of our
school which we want to hold to our heart.
Police makes us feel safe and protected. In
spite of his busy hectic schedule in reinforcing law and justice, Mr.V S

is one of our parents too. Welcome Mr.Nassar
Next, I don’t think, I have to offer a formal
welcome to the other dignitaries on dais, let me say, to this twin brothers –
Mr.Shamsudheen and Mr.Abdul Gaffur – you could see them together always in the
role of upbringing and redefining the education whether in schooling, colleging
from engineering, pharmacy or medical college.
Welcome sirs to both of you.
It all started as a dream – dream transformed
into vision – vision is set up with goals – goals are achieved with action.
This dream would not come true without valued parents’ encouragement and
involvement, teachers’ affection and effort. Dear parents our hearty welcome to
each one of you. We are sure that you will continue extending your support,
encouragement and all the more involvement in further movements too.
Let me remind you parents, 21st
century education is the refined and reformed form of education through several
revolutions. We must understand
The four pillars of Learning are the fundamental
principles of reshaping education.
1. Learning to Know : to provide the cognitive tools required to better
comprehend the world and its complexities, and to provide an appropriate and
adequate foundation for future learning.
2. Learning to Do : to provide the skills that would enable individuals to
effectively participate in the global economy and society.
3. Learning to Be : to provide self analytical and social skills to enable
individual to develop to their fullest potential psycho-socially,
affectionately as well as physically for an all-round complete person.
4. Learning to Live Together : to expose individual to the values implicit
within human rights, democratic principles, intercultural understanding and
respect and peace at all levels of society and human relationships to enable
individuals and societies to live in peace and harmony.
Dear parents you are going to witness, you
have been witnessing, how our children are gaining these 21st
century skills. This event also forms a part skill acquisition like
collaboration, sportsman spirit, organizational skills etc which is essential
for us to survive in this highly competitive world.
You are all most welcome to stay here this
morning, witness this mega event and encourage our young sportsmen!
Who knows, a PT Usha, or Shini Wilson or MD
Valsmma or Srisanth or I M VIjayan or Anju baby George or mayugha may emerge
from this family!
At last, but not the least my dear energetic learners
and enthusiastic trainers, wish you all the very best! Continue sportsman
spirit.
“I've missed more than 9000
shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to
take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again
in my life. And that is why I succeed”
Michael
Jeffrey Jordan ,also
known by his initials, MJ, an
American former professional basketball player,
entrepreneur, and principal owner
and chairman of the Charlotte Hornets said these words.
I repeat : I Qoute
“I've missed more than 9000
shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to
take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again
in my life. And that is why I succeed”
So, Dear children winning or losing is not so
important. Your active participation counts.
In the end, I express Hearty welcome to everyone
present here! Hope our children will make you enjoy, entertain, enlighten and
also learn!
